Véronique Vancauwenbergh is a Belgian clinical psychologist/CBT therapist and works as a UM psychologist. Within the university, she supports students in their personal development throughout individual therapy, workshop and lectures . She wrote two dissertations one on ‘self-confidence and the relation with fear failure’ and ‘mental health in Dutch university students’. Aside from her employment at the University she is active in two practices in Belgium were her clinical interest have included work with children, teens and young adults. Véronique uses a broad range of cognitive behavioral therapy and techniques from positive psychology in the psychotherapy and counseling process. Her therapeutic style is proactive, multidimensional and creative. In her free time she loves to read, try out new (baking) recipes and plan trips to discover new places.
