Prof. Dr. Philippe Delespaul is a Belgian psychologist. He studied clinical psychology, methodology, mathematics and statistics at the university of Leuven (B) and is a supervisor for cognitive behaviour therapy. He is in charge of service development and innovation for patients suffering from severe mental illness in the South of Limburg (The Netherlands) and scientific director of the Regional Knowledge Centre ‘Psycope’. He holds a chair in Mental Health Innovation and is a national and international consultant for this field. He developed and standardized the experience sampling method and the PsyMate device. He published more than 100 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals.
